The ladder
Your Helixers
A Helixer is anyone Helix Gamer has matched you with. Where they land depends on one thing: how many of the games you've both rated you scored the same.
How a match is measured
Same games. Same scores.
Helix Gamer looks at every game you and another player have both scored, and counts how often you landed on the same number. A handful of agreements puts someone on your radar. Dozens of exact matches across a big shared library is rare — and that's the top of the ladder.
You need to have rated enough games yourself before tiers start to appear. The more you rate, the more accurate every tier becomes.
A few scores in common — enough of a hint to keep an eye on what they rate next.
A clear pattern of agreement is forming. Their highly-rated games are worth a look.
You two genuinely line up. When they rate something a 9, it's the kind of tip you act on.
A near-mirror of your taste across a lot of games. Their shelf is basically a preview of yours.
The rarest tier. Someone who scores games almost exactly as you do, again and again. You may never get one.
